COVID-19 Online Mass, Prayers and Information

As the Coronavirus or COVID-19 Pandemic begins to affect all countries throughout the world, and the government introduces new advice for Social Distancing and Self Isolation, we want to offer a resource for Spiritual Guidance to those who are unable to attend Mass, and those who would like to pray for the current situation, and offer a platform where we can share current news with our Parishioners.

We will endeavour to update the site regularly and to make updates easier to spot, we will put new information in different colours.

PLEASE NOTE - That due to the Coronavirus we are very sorry that we have had to temporarily suspend public celebration of the Mass. Reasons for this can be found at the link on the bottom of the page. There will be no weekday or Sunday Mass for public celebration until further notice.

Our church has sadly had to close its doors in accordance with Government guidelines.

Those who have Mass intentions please be assured that Fr Dariusz will still be celebrating Mass privately and offering those Masses already booked in.

Pope Francis reminded us this week that, in a time such as this, if we profess genuine sorrow for our sins to God, expressed by a sincere request for forgiveness and accompanied by a firm resolution to go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation as soon as is possible, obtains forgiveness of sins, even mortal ones (cf CCC, no. 1452)

Re-dedication of England as a Dowry to Mary

3 day Triduum of Prayer will start on 26 March 2020. On the 29th March we will be re-dedicating England as a Dowry to Mary. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be able to do this as a community, however this can be done individually. The COVID-19 pandemic is an example of why The Rededication is so important at this moment. In this time of fear and uncertainty, it is of the greatest importance for us to place ourselves under the protection and guidance of Christ through Mary, Our Mother. Please see for details of the prayers to be recited over this period or click the link below.

Prayer for Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that you are present in this Holy Sacrament of the altar. I love you above all things and I passionately desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come spiritually into my soul so that I may unite myself wholly to you now and forever. Amen.
